More about Malachite:
Malachite is a copper carbonate mineral formed through long geological processes of oxidation and mineral-rich groundwater movement. Over time, copper deposits react with carbonated water, creating the layered green bands that make malachite immediately recognizable. These patterns are not decorative additions — they are records of chemical change, pressure, and slow formation.

Most malachite forms in the oxidized zones of copper ore bodies, often alongside minerals such as azurite, cuprite, and chrysocolla. Major deposits have historically been mined in regions of Central and Southern Africa, as well as parts of Russia and Australia. This malachite is from Congo. Because malachite forms through specific environmental conditions, no two pieces develop the same banding or coloration.

This listing is for Option G. A singular fragment of the earth’s long mineral history, shaped by processes that unfolded over millions of years.
