About Mineral Chapel
Mineral Chapel is where I study tarot, one card at a time.
But Mineral Chapel didn't start as a tarot journal.
It began as a little metaphysical shop filled with crystals, tarot decks, ritual objects and other things I loved. For several years, I spent a lot of my free time sourcing products, packing orders, and making videos about the shop.
Eventually, I realized my favorite part wasn't really running the store. It was learning.
I loved sitting down with a deck, opening a book, making a cup of coffee and disappearing into something I wanted to understand.
So Mineral Chapel changed with me.
Today, it's where I document my study of tarot, one card at a time. The Tarot Journal is where I keep my notes, observations, resources, and thoughts as I work through the cards.
On YouTube, I make Study With Me videos from these same sessions. There’s no teaching or talking—just tarot cards, books, journaling, the natural sounds of studying, and a soundtrack.
Sometimes the music is soft and ambient. Other times it’s upbeat indie rock, indie folk, or what I affectionately call witchy pop. I love finding music that gives each study session its own little world.
Most of these videos are filmed at home, but Mineral Chapel occasionally travels with me. My husband is Bulgarian-American, and we visit family in Bulgaria regularly, so you may find me studying from a table there, sharing little pieces of our travels, or filming somewhere along the way.
The videos are simply meant to offer some company while you study, read, work, journal, or spend some time learning something of your own.
The shop is still part of Mineral Chapel, just in a different way.
For now, you'll find remaining pieces from the original shop alongside items connected to my tarot studies. As Mineral Chapel continues to evolve, I'd like the shop to become a small collection of decks, books, and other things I actually use and enjoy.
Rather than trying to carry everything, I want it to feel more like a shelf beside my desk: things I've studied with, things I've enjoyed, and things I think are worth sharing.
I'm learning, too.
I'm not here to present myself as a tarot expert or tell anyone what a card has to mean.
This is a record of my own study.
Some interpretations will change. I'll discover things I hadn't noticed before. I'll probably look back at old journal entries and understand a card completely differently.
That's part of why I'm keeping the journal in the first place.

The Original Mineral Chapel Manifesto
Mineral Chapel was created around a simple belief: magic is ancestral and ancient.
It lives in families, households, and communities.
It lives where people gather, where meals are made, where children grow up, where grief and joy pass through the same rooms again and again.
For generations, magic was not something you performed for yourself — it was something you kept for one another.
Many people today feel spiritually displaced.
They may no longer belong to the religion they were raised in.
They may have a home with mixed cultures.
Or they may feel that modern spirituality looks a lot like trends, aesthetics, and consumerism.
Yet the need for ritual remains.
I believe ritual does not require doctrine — it requires care.
Across cultures and generations, households have always kept certain objects:
things that stayed in one place,
things that were tended,
things that quietly witnessed daily life.
Icons on walls.
Fires kept at the hearth.
Handmade furniture.
A clove of garlic in the window.
These objects were not about self-improvement or manifestation.
They were the things that made the house a home.
Mineral Chapel exists for people who crave that continuity — for Keepers.
For homemakers, parents, and those rebuilding a sense of family and community where it was broken or never fully formed.
Mineral Chapel is more than crystals and candles. It’s a love letter to the magic we grew up believing in.
To black boots on crunchy leaves, grandma's amulet, a well-used broom, and rituals passed down for generations.
Every item we curate is meant to bring that energy back into your home. Lived in, full of wonder, ancestral, and for the family.
We see household objects as heirloom pieces.
Many of the items we offer are meant to remain in one place — to watch over a home, mark a threshold, or rest near where people sleep.
The tools, vessels, and study objects we carry are meant to be returned to.
Used without an audience.
Tended over time.
Passed along, or at least remembered.
Many pieces are handmade. Some are imperfect. Many will change with use.
That is not a flaw — it is the point.
Mineral Chapel is not about doing magic.
It is about living with it — together.
